Close Combat was founded in 2002 where they played in Maastricht' former hardrockcafe 'de Gaaspiep'. They are inspired by bands
like Cockney Rejects. In 2004 their first (mini)cd was released by Rebellion Records called 'Viva Mestreech' (added the cover). The cd
consisted out of 5 tracks and 4 of them in the Maastricht language (mainly about Dutch footballclub MVV Maastricht).
In 2006 this cd was released by Bandworm Records and has 12 new songs.

Close Combat werd opgericht in 2002 toen ze in het toenmalige Maastrichtse hardrockcafé 'de Gaaspiep' speelden. Ze zijn geïnspireerd
door bands als Cockney Rejects. In 2004 werd hun 1e (mini)cd uitgebracht door Rebellion Records genaamd 'Viva Mestreech' (cover
toegevoegd). De cd bestond uit 5 tracks en 4 daarvan in het Maastrichts (voornamelijk over MVV). In 2006 werd deze cd gereleased
door Bandworm Records en heeft 12 nieuwe liedjes.

geïnspireerd door bands es Cockney Rejects. In 2004 woort hunne 1e (mini)cd oetgebrach door Rebellion Records genaomp 'Viva
Mestreech' (cover touwgeveug). De cd bestoont oet 5 tracks en daovaan 4 in 't Mestreechs (veurnaomelek euver us MVV'ke). In 2006
woort dizze cd gerelease door Bandworm Records en heet 12 nuije leedsjes.
